The Greater New York Chapter of the American Red Cross has made a call to action to the citizens of New York. They are kicking off their “I+Red Cross” this month since March is Red Cross Month.

This initiative is to encourage people to be prepared for a disaster, volunteer, and donate. The goal is to recruit 10,000 new volunteers. Check out the ARC/GNY website for more information.
